Annual Environmental Scholarships

The Garden Club of Spring Lake is pleased to offer its Annual Environmental Scholarships to graduating high school seniors who plan to pursue studies in environmental science or related fields.

SCHOLARSHIP AWARDS

The Garden Club of Spring Lake will award scholarships to students who demonstrate academic achievement, community involvement, and a strong interest in environmental stewardship.

ELIGIBLE FIELDS OF STUDY

Related majors include, but are not limited to: Environmental Science, Horticulture, Floriculture, Landscape Design, Botany, Plant Pathology, Agronomy, Ecology, Sustainability Studies, Conservation Science, Environmental Engineering, Urban or City Planning, Land Management, and Natural Resource Management.

SELECTION CRITERIA

Scholarship recipients will be selected based on:

- Intended college major and its relevance to environmental studies
- Quality and insight of the required essay
- Extracurricular activities, volunteer work, employment, or experiences related to the intended field of study

APPLICATION DEADLINE

Completed applications must be received by April 1, 2026. Applicants must complete this form and include the following by either digital submission or through the US Postal system.
